Data Deletion

Effective 1 September 2026

You can ask The Clarion Stirling Institute to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. This page explains what to do and what happens next.

How to request deletion

Email us from the address associated with your data, with the subject line “Data deletion request”:

Send your request to
info@clarionstirling.com

Please include the email address (and any name) you used with us so we can locate your records. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, to protect your data from unauthorised deletion.

If you used Facebook or Instagram to reach us

If you interacted with our advertising or a Facebook Login flow, you can also request deletion of any associated data by emailing the address above and stating that your request relates to Facebook or Instagram. We will locate and delete the corresponding records held by the Institute. You can additionally review and remove app connections in your Facebook settings under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.

What we delete

We keep only the minimum information the law requires us to retain (for example, to meet a legal or accounting obligation), and we delete or anonymise the rest.

What to expect

  1. We acknowledge your request, usually within a few business days.
  2. We verify the request comes from you.
  3. We delete the associated personal data and confirm when it is done — within 30 days, and sooner where practical.
